We are Volunteers.

Who love art.

We aim to revitalize and renew all corners of Hall County by infusing artistic elements into public spaces. Through murals, sculptures, interactive displays, and art events throughout the year, we aim to transform the ordinary into extraordinary, breathing new life into our surroundings.

We want Hall County to come alive with art.

We are just one arm of a greater vision. Vision 2030, a coordinated group of volunteers acting as change agents, has helped propel our vision into reality. It takes a collaborative partnership with government, education, business, and non-profits, to allow our ideas to take root and grow.

FAQs

What is Public Art?

Public Art tells the story of our history, our people, and our place. Public Art can be a mural, a sign, a bench, a sculpture, an installation, temporary or permanent, serious or silly. Public Art is a collaboration between artists, businesses, community members, volunteers, kids, adults, teachers and dreamers.

Do you need to be an artist to get involved with Public Art?

Absolutely not. We benefit from varying specialties and backgrounds and simply need people with a passion for enhancing our community through collaboration. We want idea generators, fundraisers, storytellers, business owners, property owners, community volunteers and creatives.

How does Public Art enhance our community?

Public Art transforms our shared spaces like trails, parks, sidewalks, public transit and reinforces our community culture. Creates shared ownership and a kinship with one another. Public Art can be found on walls, along paths, in buildings, underneath a bridge, blowing in the wind, being climbed on by kids and within the shadows of an alley. Art revitalizes an area and brings economic growth along with it.

What does this public art organization actually do?

We are facilitators. A get it done, results driven group with a shared goal of ART EVERYWHERE. We bring our talent, experience, and ideas to the group and brainstorm ways to engage the community, garner funds and grants for projects. We match an artistic idea with funding to a location. We collaborate to bring big ideas to life. We dream big. Want to dream big with us? Join our team.

Hall County Parks and Leisure is honored to be involved in the Public Art initiative in our community.  We are proud to have a number of Public Art pieces in most of our parks and Community Centers, with more to come!  Art beautifies and enhances public spaces and visitors love it.  This would not be possible without the generous support of the Vision 2030 Public Art initiative in Hall County..”
